Motorola V80 (R880)
According to Mobile Review, the Motorola V80 (previously thought to be named the R880) has been confirmed for April 2004 delivery. The V80 is the successor of the original rotator, the V70 . One great feature is the ability to compose a picture with the screen rotated 90 degrees -the result is a more natural posture for taking snapshots. With a unique design and...

Sony Ericsson K750i
On Friday I managed to procure a Sony Ericsson K750i and after spending the weekend with it I'm very impressed. In basically the same form factor as the T610, they've jammed in a 2 Megapixel camera, MP3 player, games and all the organizational tools I use in my Treo. While it's not a Treo replacement, it's definitely a great alternate phone for one who...

Motorola A780
Sorry for the Motoverkill, but this one is near and dear to me-- as a member of the original design team for the software in this puppy, I'm happy to see it has finally matured a bit. There have been several iterations: first was the A760, then the A768, then the E680. Each one a little better than the next, but not quite fulfilling...

South Korean Telson Electronics has unveiled a crazy new wrist watch cell phone. The TWC 1150 includes all the features of a modern camera phone, but is designed to be worn on your wrist. It's said to be light, though clearly it's bulky -not a daily wear piece, but cool none the less. via cellular-news.com...

Sony Ericsson announced 3 new phones today. The most exciting, the S700 (above), has a beautiful color screen and a nice high resolution camera. The S700 has a swivel design similar to the Motorola v70 and v80. MyOrigo MyDevice
MyOrigo is a Finnish company developing a new smartphone called the MyDevice. Despite this branding disaster, the device looks like it will be pretty interesting. The feature set is standard for a smartphone -calling, messaging, personal info mgt, camera, etc. It's the UI that makes it unique -including 4 new ways of browsing information on the phone: motion control, mirroring, the "Touch and Feel"...
