2005 Mustang by Josh Rubin

I'm not usually one for American cars, but the 2005 Ford Mustang is really hot! The design combines the shell of a late 60s muscle car with an ultra sleek and modern interior. There will be 2 models, a 300hp V8 GT and an under $20,000 V6.

Freedom Of Creation: The Smallest Show in Milan
The Amsterdam-based design company Freedom Of Creation (FOC) was one of our highlights of last year’s 100% Design Show in London. The beautiful organic forms in their lighting design and their extraordinary rapid manufactured textiles both stood out from the crowd. FOC’s use of the laser sintering process—allowing complex forms to be built up in layers—has now been expanded to a more commercial use...

Rosendahl Ice Scraper
It's about 18˚ Farenheit (-8˚ Celsius) in New York today—those of us who live in areas with cold temperatures, snow and ice storms know how delicate and ineffective most scraper/brushes are. Made of stainless steel and synthetics, the Rosendahl Ice Scraper is designed to remove anything from dew to a layer of hard ice. There is a soft edge for fogged up and frosty...

2009 Chevy Camaro Concept
A couple years ago I gave a backhanded compliment to the new Ford Mustang and got lots of flame from readers. Well, here it goes again... I haven't been too excited by anything from American car manufacturers in a while (since the new Mustang) but then came the new Camaro concept, unveiled last week at the Detroit Auto Show. How can anyone not love...

Colani
Berlin-born Luigi Colani, with his trademark moustache, all-white ensembles, and stogie, was the 60s rockstar of design. Since graduating from the Sorbonne where he studied aerodynamics, for over 50 years he's given everything from high-heels to "meditation" chairs his utopianist, biomorphic makeover, but the streamlined, ultra-futuristic contours of his cars are what he's most well-known for. A new book (titled Colani: The Art of...
