Jason Young paints with epoxy resin. His intensive technique results in translucent layers of color and texture. I have watched his paintings evolve over the last several years, and must say that his most recent work is nearing mastery. I can spend hours studying the sublime depths of his creations. Click the above photos for a closer look (though the photos don't really do them justice).

Pictures on Walls (POW) is a site devoted to exposing the latest from both up and coming and more well-established street artists by turning their work into limited edition screen prints sold on their site. They recently released new pieces by the likes of Beautiful Losers (Aaron Young's museum show turned artist collective) and everyone's perennial fave Banksy. Another one of his sharp commentaries...

There's some lovely imagery on Flak Photo, a dedicated photo based website and photography blogzine featuring work from an international community of photographers. As they say, "in November 2004, we launched our photoblog, which has grown into a collection of hundreds of images from over forty photographers from around the globe. Stuart and Your Gallery
If you missed the launch last year of powerful art collector Charles Saatchi’s foray into the online networking, don’t worry you are not the only one. Lost at E Minor Newsletter
If you've ever noticed a visually arresting Australian photographer, illustrator, or artist on Cool Hunting, chances are it's a contribution from Lost at E Minor, a site and weekly newsletter published by brothers Zolton and Zac Zavos. But, what you see on CH is only a select sampling of the rich finds the two come up with from the smallest continent and beyond. For...
We Feel Fine
For almost a year now Jonathan Harris and Sepandar Kamvar have been scanning blogs to find and catalog human feelings. We Feel Fine is their database and visualization of several million emotional statements found by searching blog posts for the phrases "I feel" and "I am feeling." Viewable in six different modes or movements as they call them, the site is a brilliant artistic...
Swipple
The concept behind Swipple is so simple, it makes you wonder why there aren't more sites like it. An online art gallery that exhibits the work of different artists from a wide range of styles, it's easy to navigate, simple to browse, and light on pretension. It lets the art sell itself — just like a good gallery should. There's a Swipple Shop "because...
Glitch Browser
Glitch Browser is a project by Dimitre Lima, Tony Scott and Iman Moradi that is designed to subvert the usual course of conformity and signal perfection. You enter a URL in to the browser and the site returned has intentionally degraded images. The beautiful distortion is created by dropping and rearranging the data packets created in the transmission of the image. Thanks, Ari....
Audrey Kawasaki
I was thrown this link the other night. And as I went through it, I was just astounded by how sensual and startling Audrey Kawasaki's work is. It's kinda hot and freaky so I thought I'd just share. I'm sure you're thinking "Oh great, lucky me..." But seriously, take a look for yourself. I find the looks the girls stare back at me slightly...
