Designer Mobile Phone Screensavers Raise Money for AIDS by Josh Rubin

The Parisian mobile content company, See My SMS, in a fund raising effort for "Ensemble Contre le Sida" (United Against AIDS), has launched a collection of artworks to be downloaded onto cell phones. The images were created by many famous designers, including: Kenzo, John Galliano, Christian Lacroix, Paul Smith and many others.

To participate, (European) mobile users simply type in the code assigned to the image they want to download from the See My SMS, Designers United Against AIDSª page, and send it off to short code 81010.

The cost of the MMS image is around $ 3.-, and fifty percent will benefit the AIDS Association.
