Mirror TV
by Josh Rubin

Later this year, Philips will begin distributing its Mirror TV which 'in essence is an LCD display integrated in a mirror.' There have been may attempts in the past to put a display behind a mirror. Some of the coolest were created as art installations by Sigi Moeslinger and Masamichi Udagawa at Antenna Design. What apparently makes the Philips design unique is that the display is very bright and sharp. And it totally disappears when it's turned off. According to Philips, the unit will be sold in a variety of sizes and without a frame. You'll be free to frame it as you wish (or flush mount it in the wall).
Pioneer Wearable Computer Jacket
by Josh Rubin

Pioneer has been getting some press lately on an interesting jacket concept that uses an Organic File Electro-Luminescent display on the sleeve. The concept isn't so new, the cool thing is the image quality of the (presumably) flexible display.
