New iPod by Josh Rubin

It doesn't take much hunting today to find the news of Apple's new iPods. They are smaller and lighter with more storage space (15 and 30 GB). There's a new dock. And they, as well as the older versions, integrate seamlessly with the new music download service offered via the iTunes upgrade.
The new version of iTunes also includes Rendezvous based music sharing. That means you can store all your music on your iMac in the kitchen, and still listen to them from your Ti book in the study. It not only works, but it's really easy to use.
Mac Rumors has a pretty good overview of how Apple is dealing with all the copyright issues.

Griffin iKaraoke
Though likely already in the works before the mini-scandal back in April prompted by Apple's corporate form letter reply to a Northern California 3rd-grader who suggested a karaoke feature for iPods, Griffin's upcoming iKaraoke accessory should at least be validating for the young correspondent. Due out this coming Winter, the new microphone-based device plugs directly into iPod's universal dock, transmitting instrumentals and backup vocals...
