Ovi: Music, GPS and Games
By now, you've most likely heard all the Nokia buzz today—great new phones, the N95 is finally coming stateside and the gaming industry continues to go more mobile. We love the expanded 8G memory in the N81 and N95 which allows us to hold more music, photos, games etc. This brings me to what, in my opinion, is subtly some of the biggest news...

Domino Phone
The Domino Phone, a concept piece from Stockholm-based Syntes Studio, juxtaposes old-world gaming and high-tech utility. From packaging to form to materials, the Domino theme is followed to create a simple, slick phone design. More photos after the jump....

Latest from Nokia
Yesterday was a big day for Nokia at their Open Studio event—eight new products, an indy store driven Music Recommenders service, David Bowie appearance, Gnarles Barkley concert, Om Malik panel discussion and a tricked out Mustang alongside a smoothie stand. All of this grounded by their new(ish) message that they make "multimedia computers with telephony capability" as opposed to mobile phones that do lots...

Nokia E70 Now Available in the US
Just a quick post to say that the E70 that I reviewed here back in July is now available for purchase by US customers direct from Nokia for $449. This is is a slightly different version of the device which supports certain North American frequencies. You'll also notice the black keyboard. Otherwise, as far as I know, it's the same E70. No, it's not...

Nokia E70: Hands On
It took a week, but I'm now in love with my Nokia E70. I have always been a fan of the butterfly form-factor, but out of the box the new version of Nokia's S60 software felt as convoluted as Windows. After reconfiguring the menus, installing some great applications, finding an acceptable theme and getting it to sync with my MacBook Pro, I feel all...

Nokia Flagship Store in Chicago
Nokia's second flagship store opens on Chicago's chic Magnificent Mile tomorrow, 24 June 2006 (the first is in Moscow). One has to wonder whether this premier U.S. location is strategically or coincidentally placed in Motorola's home town, just blocks from the Moto design studio and across the street from Moto's Destination Q store. With an objective of education and experience over sales, the flagships...
